Barangkali ada beberapa dari kalian yg ngga tau lagu ini. Bahkan, penyanyinya barangkali banyak juga yg ga begitu kenal atau familiar. So do I. Pertama denger India Arie accidentally gara-gara beli kaset [yess ... jaman itu masih ada kaset] kompilasi lagu-lagu hits karena saya ngga begitu suka atau ngga begitu concern sama album personal dari seorang penyanyi. Lebih prefer kompilasi tepatnya. India Arie lah salah satu yang ada di song list nya. Pas baca jelas ngga kebayang niy orang lagunya kayak apa atau punya aliran apa. Tapi setelah didengerin, it was good!!!! Kalo yang pernah denger lagu Can I Walk With You? yup!!! itulah India Arie.
Namanya keren yah, India Arie. Eksotis Asia sekali. Padahal kayaknya ngga ada darah2 Asianya. Dan belakangan saya lagi addict sama lagu India Arie yang judulnya CHOCOLATE HIGH. Di lagu ini ibu satu ini ngga nyanyi sendiri. Tapi duet bareng Musiq Soulchild. Siapa pulaaaaa itu??? I don't even know. Tapi dijamin buat yang suka sama aliran musik RnB atau Soul India Arie bisa jadi salah satu referensi 'ilmu' kalian. Dari hasil mantengin YouTube beberapa kali, rajin2nya ngikutin India Arie, emang soulfull sekali ibu satu ini. Effortless!! nyanyinya ngga perlu ngoyo, teriak2 a'la Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce atau siapa pun. Her lyric's does something!! Buat yang ngga begitu suka ngeluarin tenaga penuh buat mahamin aliran soul penyanyi yang satu ini, coba dengerin lagu yang satu ini. Denger liriknya aja bakal bikin senyum2 pipi merah. hehehe. Karena memang fun banget dan ringan. Pleeeeuuuussssssss ....... musik yang medium beat bikin kaki goyang. GUARANTEEEE!!!!!!
